Since we moved to Griffin House in 2004, it's proven to be a lively, vibrant and welcoming home to the 1,000 people who work there. It has excellent on-site facilities and is only a short walk to all the shopping, social and cultural attractions of Manchester.

Our Head Office houses all the central functions, you'd expect from a large market leading multi-channel retailer.

Finance

Our growth over the years has been phenomenal and we continue to increase our turnover and profits year on year. To support this growth, the Finance Department ensures that timely and accurate management information is collated to assist both day-to-day and strategic business decisions.

Human Resources

We recognise that nothing's more important to our success than our people - our Human Resources team are all about the effective recruitment, development and management of our 3,300 employees. Human Resources develop the tools needed to manage our people effectively, and co-ordinate a range of activities that ensure you'll reach your optimum performance and enjoy working with us.

IT

Our IT professionals at JD Williams are focused entirely on helping the business succeed. They support the day-to-day operation of the business, and support its development into new areas. Our IT team ensure that their current systems provide dependably high standards of service to our customers, that new systems are delivered successfully, and that the business receives reliable, valuable information at the required time.

Marketing

Our Marketing team runs the most complex catalogue business in the world; no other home shopping organisation currently has the combination of customers, products and publications we have. Our outstanding growth record is based on a mixture of acquisition and the development of existing titles within our portfolio. We're involved in the development of many diverse catalogues, from the layout and design of pages right through to identifying which customers to target with specific promotions and offers.

Merchandising

Our Merchandising team make sure that whatever the JD Williams customer wants, they can get it from one of our websites or catalogues. So we make sure all 28,000 of our products reflect our 3.5 million customers' varied needs - from clothing to homewares, electrical goods to toys. It's our ability to source the right products and sell them at prices that delight that fuels our success.
